In Poland since 1996, John Banka has been active on both the development and advisory sides of the property industry. Arriving from Chicago, he acted as the investor’s project manager for the development of Warsaw Financial Center, and then established and managed Capita's project and cost management operations in Poland. Later, he was responsible for investment transactions and project finance within the Corporate Finance Real Estate Group at Anderson (later Ernst & Young). Prior to his arrival in Poland he worked for the cities of New York and Chicago as a development official, including management of such public-private investments as the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the Columbia University Research Park.
At Colliers, John advises various Polish and international clients on sale and acquisition mandates involving office, retail, logistics and hotel developments.
He holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in Chicago. |
