Andrzej Szornak is a graduate of the Catholic University of Lublin and the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 1995 he has worked in the banking sector: in PKO BP, in Polsko-Amerykański Bank Hipoteczny SA in Warsaw, in Kredyt Bank SA and in HVB Group (HypoVereinsbank Bank Hipoteczny SA and Bank BPH SA). In the last two banks Mr. Szornak held the position of Department Director, working in the area of real estate financing, including residential. He also worked in the development and strategy as well as in analysis and information departments.

Mr. Szornak is currently Vice President of the Management Board of BGK and is responsible for all real estate financing. He cooperates closely with Committee of Real Estate Financing at Polish Banks Union.
