John Verpeleti

John Verpeleti is one of the region's longest-serving property practitioners having arrived in Budapest in 1991 following a 13 year career in property in his native Australia.  He has been Head of Central Europe for AXA REIM since November 2005, with responsibility for the Group's activities in the region. Prior to this appointment, John was Managing Director of DTZ Central and Eastern Europe for nine years.

John is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute. He also speaks regularly on panels discussing Central and Eastern European property issues and frequently authors articles for the property press.  He is a former editor of the Municipal Valuer's Journal (Victoria, Australia) and a former editor of Victorian Bulletin, a quarterly publication for property professionals in Victoria.
