Between 1974 and 1990 Pál Baross worked for the Dutch Institute of Housing and Urban Development in different countries in Europe, Asia and South-America, primarily as commercial and economic expert in city restoration projects. He returned to Hungary in 1991 when he established KOLPRON (today ECORYS) Consultancy firm. From 1995 he was an ING Real Estate Development consultant and became Country Manager from 1999. In 2006 he was invited to establish a real estate specialization for the Central-European University's MBA program, where he teaches a Real Estate Development and Investment course.
