Éva Beleznay

Éva Beleznay is the Chief Architect of the City of Budapest. She is an Urbanist and Architect. Her special field of expertise is Urban Development and Regeneration. She coordinated the work of the new regulation on the Budapest Urban Regeneration Fund, and leads the working group set up for the social regeneration pilot projects in Budapest. Her other responsibilities include the coordination of the City Hall development and the Óbuda Gasworks brownfield regeneration projects. Prior to her current position she was the Head of the Deputy Mayor's Office of the City of Budapest. She had also worked as Senior Regeneration Policy Officer in the Chief Architect's Bureau of Budapest. She led the analysis of the cultural regeneration of the Old Jewish District.
