Nóra Demeter is a dual national, and was born and raised in the United States. She pursued her architectural education in the United States, receiving a MARCH at Yale University. She has been practicing architecture in Hungary since 1993, where she was originally involved with the offices of Fitzroy Robinson, whose office she directed in Budapest between 1996 and 1998. In 1998 Nóra joined Gábor Zoboki's office and they established the firm Zoboki, Demeter and Associates.
Her international background and experience has enabled the office to have access to significant foreign investors and practices.
Nóra Demeter has been the project architect on several major projects, the most significant of which is the Center Point Office Building. Apart from architectural design, she is also an interior designer, and she coordinates the design of the major projects of the office.
Nóra is a member of the American Institue of Architects and she coordinated the Associations Conference held in Budapest in 2001. |
