Heinz Neumann works as an architect at his self-established company, Neumann + Partners.

After graduating as an architect in 1967 he started to work in Vienna, where he became the Head of Building and Organization at Ford-Austria. During his studying years he gained architectural experience in Finland, Switzerland, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Persia and Turkey. In 1973 he was authorized for Civil Engineering, and in 2002 he received the professional title of professor.

He received many honors and awards including the National Award for Industrial Buildings in Silver, Adolf Loos Architecture Award for Office Buildings, Otto Wagner – Urban Architecture Award, Pilgram Award, Principal Award for Uniqa Tower, Building Award 2006, Architecture Award of Vienna City and the Greenbuilding certificate of EU for Uniqa Tower.
