Dr. Gusztáv Bienerth has been the senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, responsible for development and services in the public sector, including the EU & governmental relations in the CEE/CIS Region. Prior to this post, he was the territory senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hungary for nine years, and the regional corporate finance leader for one year, at the same time. Gusztáv joined the PwC Partnership in 1994 and retired as of January 1, 2007. He has more than two decades of experience advising multinational companies investing in Hungary and in other Central and East European countries. He is an expert on foreign investments and joint venture formations and has extensive management experience running major organizations. He has represented AmCham and other investors at the Investors’ and Competitiveness Council of Hungary, at the Economic Council and at numerous and various organizations and events aimed to help the competitiveness of the Hungarian business environment.
