Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy became the global head of securities services of UniCredit group in 2009 and has been a managing director of UniCredit Bank Hungary since 2001. He was the chairman of the board of directors of the Budapest Stock Exchange for four years, but also a member of the board of the Federation of European Stock Exchange (FESE). He spent three years as a CEE director of Bank Austria Creditanstalt in Vienna, prior to his position as the head of the international department at Bank Austria Creditanstalt Hungary. He spent almost 10 years at Budapest Bank as the head of different departments and afterwards became a member of the supervisory board at Budapest Asset Management. Since 2005 Attila has been the president of the Budapest Olympics Movement; he is also a member of the Hungarian Olympic Committee and active in several sport organizations, like the Hungarian Pentathlon Association and the Hungarian Fencing Federation. After he graduated from the College of Modern Business and Economics in Tatabánya as an economist, Attila received the M.Sc at the University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration in Budapest. He spent one year in Istanbul with a scholarship of The Banks’ Association of Turkey. He was given the Employee of the Year title by HVB Bank Hungary Ltd. in 2002.
