Chris Bennett is the director of Europa Emerging Europe Fund, which he recently joined. He is also the chairman of Pactolus Hungarian Property and adviser to 3E Car Park Managers. After leaving the College of Estate Management, University of London, in 1966 he joined the Inland Revenue District Valuer and Valuation Office in Ipswich. A few years later he started to work for Richard Ellis, where he spent 17 years. At the beginning of the 1990s he became the leader of the real estate group in Central & Eastern Europe at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Three years later he went to DTZ, and worked as CEE chairman. In 2005 he joined Stumpf Group, which he has since left. He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate throughout the former Soviet Union and Central and Eastern Europe, including the former Yugoslavia and the Balkans. He expects to remain in the region, based in Budapest, for the foreseeable future.
